Special healthcare services coming up for elderly persons at DH Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan today visited the District Hospital (DH) Kishtwar to evaluate the efforts being made to improve healthcare services for the elderly persons.

The DC reviewed the progress of the renovation of the Facility with advanced care and support for the elderly. The DC directed for the fast-tracking of the renovation of the designated building. The DC also assessed the overall functioning of the District Hospital and got a briefing from the  Medical Superintendent.

The DC directed EO Municipality to enhance sanitation in and around the District Hospital premises, as well as around the welfare facility for the elderly.

He also instructed ExEn PHE to address the issue of the leaking of pipes and ensure they are properly maintained underground for safety and operational efficiency.

ACD Phulail Singh, DSWO Zubair Ahmed, EO Municipality Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal, ExEn PWD, CMO Dr. Rajinder Kumar, MS DH Dr. Yudhvir Singh Kotwal, and other senior officers and officials were present during the visit.
