Pakistan’s opener ahibzada Farhan entered his name in the history books on Sunday, September 28, by becoming the first batter in the world to hit three sixes off Jasprit Bumrah’s bowling in men’s T20Is. Farhan, who is Pakistan’s highest run-getter in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025, scored two sixes off Bumrah’s bowling in the India-Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 Group A match on September 14, and in the Asia Cup 2025 final, he smashed one maximum against Bumrah.
On the third ball of the fourth over of Pakistan’s innings, Farhan scored a six off Bumrah’s bowling.
A total of five batters – Elton Chigumbura (Zimbabwe), Cameron Green (Australia), Martin Guptill (New Zealand), Kieron Pollard (West Indies) and Lendl Simmons (West Indies) – have scored two sixes off Bumrah’s bowling in T20Is.
