₹195.5 increase will increase the burden on hotels and restaurants, while consumers will receive some relief for now
The prices of commercial LPG cylinders have been increased again across the country. Oil companies have increased the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder by ₹195.5 per cylinder. Following this increase, the price of a commercial cylinder in the capital Delhi has risen from approximately ₹1,883 to ₹2,078.5.
However, a relief for the general public is that the price of a domestic LPG cylinder (14.2 kg) has remained unchanged this time, and the old rates will remain in effect.
Impact on Business:
The increase in the price of commercial cylinders will directly impact hotels, restaurants, restaurants, and small businesses. The rise in gas prices is also expected to lead to higher food prices. Several cities are already experiencing slight increases in the prices of tea, snacks, and meals.
According to experts, this increase in LPG prices is due to fluctuations in international energy prices and supply-related issues. Oil companies review prices on the first of every month.
While domestic consumers have expressed relief at stable prices, traders have demanded relief from the government on commercial gas.
The increased prices of commercial LPG may impact the market in the coming days, while stable domestic gas prices currently provide relief to the general public.
