Islamabad: Former Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa has passed away after suffering severe head injuries, according to several media reports. The 65-year-old former general had been reportedly admitted to Rawalpindi Military Hospital earlier this year after slipping and falling in his washroom. The incident, which took place in February 2026, left him with multiple head injuries. Hospital and family sources had earlier confirmed that he was rushed to the hospital immediately after the fall.
