03 Medical shops closed down for violations at Shopian

SHOPIAN: 03 Medical shops were today closed down for improper maintenance of sale records and improper storage of medicine in Shopian.

The action against the guilty was taken during intensive inspection of medical shops in Pinjoora, Pahlipora Trenz, Molu Dangerpora and Turkawangam villages of Shopian in order to ensure compliance to the norms under vogue.

The main focus of the drive was to check the compliance to directions with respect to the computerized billing system and maintenance of records of scheduled formulations.

Further, chemists were given directions for raising digital invoices and maintaining records of scheduled formulations properly and ensuring compliance for computerized billing system installation.
