4 vehicles including 3 dumpers seized for illegal mining in Samba

SAMBA: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized four vehicles including three dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.

Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba, Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli, Incharge Police Post Supwal both falling under PS Samba and Incharge Police Post Rajpura of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized four vehicles including three dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK08G-3273, JK02CL-7059 & JK21J-6386 and a tractor trolley bearing registration No.JK21J-7079 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.

The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
