Cadets from J&K excel at 67th National Shooting Competition

Jammu : Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Directorate (JK&L Dte.) is proud to announce the outstanding achievements of Cadet Arushi Rajput and Cadet Krish Singh Chauhan, who had been selected for the 67th National Shooting Competition held at Bhopal from 15th to 31st December 2024. These cadets are amongst the top 45 candidates selected from all 17 NCC Directorates across the country, marking a significant milestone for the region.


Cadet Krish Singh Chauhan has made a remarkable leap in his shooting career. After competing at the Nationals, he has now earned the prestigious title of a National Shooter, a feat that reflects his extraordinary skill and commitment to the sport. His performance in the competition has established him as a rising star in shooting.


On the other hand, Cadet Ayushi Rajput has qualified for the India Trials for International Shooting Events, an extraordinary achievement that positions her to represent India on the global stage. Arushi’s qualification for these trials speaks volumes about her exceptional talent and determination in the sport.


In recognition of their remarkable achievements, Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM, Additional Director General (ADG) of the NCC Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Directorate, felicitated the cadets. He commended their dedication and perseverance, emphasizing how the NCC continues to provide young cadets with valuable exposure to sports, nurturing their potential and helping them achieve their goals.
