JAMMU: In a drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators, Jammu Police has initiated strict action against the criminals involved in illegal mining & minting money out of the public resources.
In a surprise operation which was carried out in last few days at different locations in Rural zone of District Jammu.
BPP Gajansoo detained four vehicles:-
02 Tippers bearing Reg.No. JK02DA/9480 loaded with Bajri & JK02CP/9318 loaded with Screened Sand. &
Two dumpers bearing Regd.No.PB05AB-9660 and PB07BG/2360 found loaded with RBM without forms A.
PP Pounichak detained 02 vehicles,one tractor bearing registration No. JK11A/2740 loaded with sand and one Tipper bearing registration number JK02BC/7595 loaded with sand without Forms A.
PP Sidhra detained one tractor trolley without number plate bearing chasis no MBNAK49AHRTE29565 loaded with sand without form A
After detaining of these vehicles District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal actions.
