Timber smuggling bid foiled byPolice Post Sainik Colony in Jammu

In a swift and efficient action, Police team of police post sainik colony recievd an information through relible source that a truck bearing registration number PB 02 CC 8154 is loaded with illicit forest timber.

On this information the police team of police post sainik colony led by ICPP Sainik colony PSI Prince Jasrotia and SHO Police Station Channi Himmat Insp Shariq Bhat under the Supervision of SDPO East and SP South Jammu, successfully foiled the timber smuggling attempt. Police seized the truck loaded with illicit timber and also apprehended the accused involved in the smuggling of the forest timber.

In this regard Case FIR No. 11/2025 U/S 303 BNS and 26 Indian Forest Act has been registered in the Police Station Channi Himmat and the investigation taken up.

This recovery highlights the prompt and professional efforts of Jammu Police in ensuring justice.
