Jammu : In a significant achievement in the ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and security of women and children, SHO Janipur along with his team has successfully recovered two minor girls who were reported kidnapped. These girls, who had been abducted have now been safely handed over to their families.
On 10.02.25 Janipur police received a complaint from father that his two minor daughters have been kidnapped by two kidnappers Shiva Dass and Manoj Kumar both R/O Chhattisgarh A/P Janipur colony
The recovery operation was carried out after extensive investigations, intelligence gathering, and coordinated efforts of Janipur local police under the close supervision of SDPO city west. Finally the girls were recovered from Balooda, Chhattisgarh after using human and technical intelligence.
Jammu police has assured that the individuals responsible for these criminal acts will face the full force of the law.
The J&K police reiterates its commitment to the safety of women and children and highlights the importance of creating a supportive environment where victims can find refuge, assistance, and justice.
Specialized units have been working diligently to track down offenders and dismantle illegal trafficking and abduction networks.

Police is duty bound and proactively performing it’s duties along with awareness programme conducted regularly under the banner “Chai with Cop” to educate people about their children’s security from criminals and drug peddlers and to save their valuable from crimes like thefts. Public has been aware to keep Chowkidaar’s in their Mohallas, install CCTVs at least in their business establishments and use the facility of bank lockers to keep their jewellery. Public is also informed not to keep much cash in their saving accounts and use the facility of sweep FDs to avoid cyber frauds.
