BJP MP echoes Centre’s strong message on peace, democracy, and citizens’ trust
New Delhi:
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut has reiterated the Central Government’s firm stance on national unity and democratic values, stating that India will be governed by the Constitution and not by violence.
Addressing the media, Kangana Ranaut said that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have sent a clear and strong message across the country that “this nation will not run on the barrel of a gun, but on the Constitution.”
She emphasized that the strength of India lies in the trust and confidence of its citizens, adding that democratic principles and rule of law remain the guiding forces of governance.
Kangana Ranaut further highlighted that the government is committed to ensuring peace, stability, and development across all regions, while firmly dealing with any forces that attempt to disrupt harmony through violence.
Her remarks come at a time when the Centre continues to underline its zero-tolerance policy against terrorism and insurgency, while simultaneously promoting inclusive growth and democratic engagement.
The statement reflects the government’s broader vision of strengthening constitutional values and fostering unity among citizens, reinforcing the idea that India’s progress depends on collective trust and adherence to democratic ideals.
