The Bharatiya Janata Party in Jammu and Kashmir has made elaborate preparations for its Foundation Day this year. Grand events are being organized at approximately 10,000 booths across the state, conveying the message of further strengthening the organization’s grassroots presence. The main event was held at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, at 10 a.m., where the program began with flag hoisting.
The party leadership has instructed all party workers to hoist the BJP flag at their homes and actively participate in the events. Special emphasis has been placed on ensuring events at the booth level, so that the party’s presence is visible in every area.
A program was also held at the Srinagar office at 11:30 a.m., where State General Secretary Mohammad Anwar Khan hoisted the flag and addressed the workers. He said that the foundation of the party’s strength lies in its dedicated workers, who stand by the organization under all circumstances.
On the eve of Foundation Day, state spokesperson and author Balbir Ram Ratan released his Hindi work. Describing the BJP as the world’s largest political party, he cited its ideology, discipline, and transparent leadership as key reasons for this. Senior leader Ashok Gandhi also emphasized the importance of literary efforts in spreading the party’s history and ideology to the masses.
The Bantalab area also witnessed considerable enthusiasm for Foundation Day. Shakti Kendra chief and district treasurer Rakesh Sethi distributed party flags at various booths and urged workers to celebrate it with pride.
Overall, this Foundation Day celebration for the BJP is not only a demonstration of the organization’s unity and strength, but also an effort to infuse new energy into workers for upcoming political activities.
