The Indian Army has once again demonstrated its vigilance along the Line of Control, achieving a major success. On Tuesday, the Army apprehended a Pakistani youth attempting to infiltrate the Salotri area of the Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch district. The apprehended infiltrator has been identified as Javed Ahmed, a resident of Tetrinot in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Who is Javed Ahmed?
The arrested youth, Javed Ahmed, is the son of Sarfaraz Ahmed and a resident of Tetrinot in PoJK. The Army apprehended him while he was attempting to enter the Indian border from Salotri. He was unable to escape the Army’s vigilant attention and was caught on the spot.
He will be handed over to the police after interrogation.
The Army is currently conducting extensive interrogation of the infiltrator, Javed. He will be handed over to the police upon completion of the interrogation. Security agencies are trying to determine at whose behest and for what purpose he was attempting to cross into the Indian border.
It is noteworthy that in recent days, there has been an increase in infiltration attempts and Pakistani drone activity along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. Due to the vigilance and alertness of the army, such attempts have been thwarted every time.
