JAMMU: A delegation of District Development Council members and political leaders from Shopian called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, today.
The delegation submitted a memorandum of demands to the Lieutenant Governor highlighting various development issues of Shopian district. Ms Bilqees Jan, Chairperson, DDC Shopian and Sh Irfan Manhas, Vice Chairman, DDC Shopian were also present during the interaction.
Subsequently, Dr Sapna Sangra, Faculty, Department of Sociology, University of Jammu and Member, UN Women Beijing CSO Steering Committee; Sh Karunesh Gupta, Chairman, Sudesh Ramkrishan Charitable Trust and a delegation of Hindustan Scouts and Guides also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
