Blind murder case solved within week, accused arrested in Udhampur

UDHAMPUR: On 25th December 2024, an information was received at Police Station Ramnagar regarding an unknown dead body found in Kunju Nallah under the jurisdiction of PS Ramnagar. Upon this a case FIR 127/2024 was registered at PS Ramnagar under Section 103 BNS, and a thorough investigation was started.

Through meticulous examination of evidence and technical data, the investigation team made rapid progress. Several suspects were identified and interrogated and one of the suspects, Ajit Kumar S/O Hari Ram R/O Rumain, Tehsil Ramnagar, was zeroed in. Upon intense questioning, Ajit Kumar confessed that he had murdered the deceased due to personal animosity.

The accused has been immediately arrested, and further investigation is ongoing to uncover more details related to the case.
