Jammu: Jammu Police Intensifying it’s drive against the Illicit sale and distillation of liquor,Jhajjar kotli police recovered illicit liquor, destroyed Lahan and arrested one person for distillation of desi liquor illegally.
On specific information, a team from Police station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO conducted a raid in the house of Bittu Masih S/O Faqru R/O Suketer,Jhajjar Kotli and recovered 02 litres of liquor and 4.5 ltrs of Lahan which was destroyed onspot.Gas cylinder, Chulla and other things involved in distillation of liquor are also seized.Person running illegal distillery was arrested from spot.
In this regard a case FIR No.28/2025 Under relevant section of Excise Act has been registered in PS Jhajjar Kotli and further investigation is in progress.
