Land grabber Bittu Teli of Sunjwan area in tehsil Bahu in Jammu slapped with PSA

JAMMU: Administration has slapped Public Safety Act to the notorious land grabber of the Sunjwan area Tehsil Bahu namely Abdul Majeed @ Bittu Teli S/0 Mir Ali R/0 Sunjwan Jammu as he is indulge in various activities of forest as well as land grabbing by changing the specification of the land.

The dossier was prepared by Forest department , slapped by District Administration and implemented by Jammu Police in the ongoing drive against land encroachment.

A team from Channi Police Station led by Station House Officer, Inspector Shariq Bhat and PSI Prince Jasrotia arrested a notorious land grabber under PSA, pursuant to a detention order issued by the District Magistrate Jammu.

He was a habitual offender and was involved in several cases of land grabbing.

The police teams arrested the accused under PSA and detained him in Amphalla Jail.

Police have warned that stern action will be taken against those resorting to illegal mining, land encroachments and other unlawful activities.
