LPG cylinder blast in Dachhan village, Kishtwar, five houses gutted, two injured

A massive fire broke out in Dachhan village, Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Thursday night due to an LPG cylinder explosion. Five houses were reduced to ashes, while two people were injured while trying to extinguish the flames.

The fire started in one house and quickly spread to other nearby houses. Upon receiving information, teams from the district administration, police, army, and fire service arrived at the scene. A joint operation with the support of local residents brought the fire under control after several hours of effort.

Due to the remoteness of the area, fire tenders had to struggle to reach the scene. LPG cylinders were safely removed from nearby houses to prevent the fire from spreading further.
