Security alert at the International Border: Bangladeshi youth detained in the Ghazansu sector of Jammu

Security agencies were forced to step up their vigil along the International Border (IB) with Pakistan in Jammu district after the Border Security Force (BSF) apprehended a Bangladeshi national under suspicious circumstances in the Ghazansu sector. The operation was carried out during a routine patrol when the soldiers noticed the youth’s unusual behavior.

According to the police, the detained youth was found with a passport and visa, but the reason behind his presence in the border area remains unclear. During interrogation, he failed to provide satisfactory answers, further fueling the security agencies’ suspicions.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the youth had illegally crossed into the Indian border and reached Jammu. Considering this case a serious security concern, the BSF has handed him over to the police for further legal action. The arrested youth ha
