Samba: In a resounding display of solidarity and commitment towards a drug-free
society and as part of Independence day celebrations, a Run for Unity was
successfully organized by NCORD, Sports committee, NSS and NCC units at
Shri Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Govt.
Degree College Samba under the banner of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty of GDC Samba. The run aimed to spread awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse and promote the core values of
unity, health, and social responsibility.
The event began at GDC Samba premises, covering a distance of 3 Km towards Mansar road. Participants carried banners, chanted slogans with powerful messages such as “Say No to
Drugs,” “Yes to Life,” and “United We Stand against Addiction.”
Today’s Run for Unity was a resolution to fight substance abuse and to renew our
commitment to contribute positively towards achieving the dream of Viksit
Bharat @2047.
