Sakeena Itoo inaugurates new Axis Bank branch in Kulgam

Says financial inclusion key to empower people, economic growth


KULGAM: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, today visited Kulgam district and inaugurated a new Axis Bank branch at Main Chowk.
During the inauguration ceremony, the Minister emphasized on the importance of accessible banking facilities in promoting economic growth and financial inclusion. “Financial inclusion is key towards empowering people and economic growth. The opening of this branch will not only facilitate easy banking but also contribute to the economic upliftment of local businesses and individuals,” Sakeena said.


Pertinently, this initiative of Axis Bank aims to enhance financial accessibility and provide comprehensive banking services to the residents of the region.


The inauguration, among others, was attended by bank officials, members of local business community and members of public.
