Samba Police arrests absconder wanted in case under NDPS Act

Samba: In continuation to its drive against the Absconders/Criminals, Samba Police apprehended an absconder wanted in a case registered under NDPS Act at Police Station Samba during the year 2012 and was evading his arrest for the last three years after issuance of arrest warrant against him by the Hon’ble Court Samba.

A Police team of Police Post Mansar of PS Samba succeeded in apprehending an absconder namely Altaf Ahmed S/o Ghulam Qadir R/o Charawa Mansar district Samba wanted in case FIR No. 246/2012 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act registered at PS Samba.

Accordingly, the said absconder was produced in the court of law and fine to the tune of rupees 10000.00 was imposed by the Hon’ble court. Thus the arrest warrant u/s 512 CrPC issued against him got executed.
