Samba, August 06, 2025: Samba Police today concluded Cricket Tournament organised in the jurisdiction of Police Sub-Division Vijaypur under Civic Action Programme in which team Young Hearts Cricket Club Samba emerged as champion of the tournament.
SSP Samba accompanied by Addl.SP Samba, SDPO Vijaypur, SDPO Bari Brahmana, Dy.SP Hqrs Samba, Dy.SP DAR Samba, SHO PS Vijaypur, SHO PS Bari Brahmana, SHO PS Purmandal and other Police officers/officials were present on the occasion.
During the said tournament, cricket teams across district Samba had participated and today the final was played between Baba Hasal Dev Cricket Club Gurha Slathian and Young Hearts Cricket Club Samba in which team Young Hearts Cricket Club Samba won the match by 63 runs.
Later in the prize distribution ceremony, SSP Samba distributed trophies, cricket kits and uniform to the winner & runner-up teams. Man of the Match and Man of the series mementos were presented to the players. Besides this, mementos were also presented to all the participating players of the final match as well as to the Umpires. Lastly, refreshment was also served.
SSP Samba congratulated the winning team of the tournament and also appreciated the professionalism exhibited by all the participating teams during the tournament.
