Samba, August 02, 2025: Continuing crackdown on illegal mining, Samba Police has seized ten vehicles including nine dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba, Ghagwal and Vijaypur which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO Police Stations Vijaypur, Ghagwal, Incharge Police Posts Supwal & Rakh Amb Talli of PS Samba and Incharge Police Post Rajpura of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized nine dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK02CT-9321, JK21F-7667, JK21D-9880, JK02CR-2556, JK02CJ-5591, JK21G-7817, JK21G-6049, JK21J-3462, JK08P-0063 and a tractor trolley bearing registration No. JK21G-1022 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
