17 Kashmiri students released after JKSA intervention, letter written to Home MinistryJNM journalist Hardeep Jamwal, JammuFollowing the intervention of the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA), 17 Kashmiri students were released. These students had been detained some time ago in connection with a local dispute.After learning about the matter, JKSA took the initiative on behalf of the students and wrote a letter to the Home Ministry and the administration, demanding the withdrawal of the FIR filed against the students and a mutually agreed resolution of the matter.Following the association’s intervention, the administration considered the matter and released all 17 students. Their families and friends breathed a sigh of relief after their release.JKSA says that the organization will always stand up for the rights and safety of students and will continue to engage with the administration in such matters when necessary.
