JAMMU: J&K Police continued their relentless drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse under Operation Sanjeevani achieved one more success with the arrest of two notorious drug peddlers and the recovery of 07 grams of Heroin(Chitta) like substances.
On 03-01-2025, a dedicated police team of Police Station Bishnah, conducted routine patrolling in the area. During patrolling, a naka was established at Sikanderpur kothey, Bishnah where two drug peddlers namely 01.Showkat Ali @Shonku S/O Mir Hussain and 02. Khadim Hussain @Tudiya S/O Alam Din both R/O Sikandar Pur, Bishnah were arrested and during a thorough search of the suspects, 07 grams of Heroin(Chitta) like substance was recovered from their possession.
The accused were immediately taken into custody, and a case was registered under FIR No. 02/2025, U/S 8/21/22/25/29 NDPS Act at Police Station Bishnah.
