JAMMU, 23 July 2025: The Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today paid rich floral tributes to martyr Kuldeep Verma on his death anniversary at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
The tribute programme was marked by deep reverence and remembrance for the supreme sacrifice made by Kuldeep Verma who was martyred during the Amarnath Yatra land agitation in Jammu.
Rakesh Mahajan, Vice-President, J&K BJP, Sanjita Dogra, General Secretary, J&K BJP, Yudhvir Sethi, MLA, Ch Vikram Randhawa, MLA, Prabhat Singh Jamwal, Treasurer, Tilak Raj Gupta, Office Secretary, Pawan Sharma, Secretary, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Media Secretary, Ved Sharma, All Cells Incharge, Naresh Singh Jasrotia, District President, senior leaders S. Varinderjit Singh, Basant Raj Thakur, Shailja Gupta, Er. TK Sharma, Sanjay Bakshi, Kulbeer Charak, Ajay Gupta, Ramesh Katoch, and several other party functionaries paid floral tributes and recalled Verma’s contributions.
Shilpi Verma, BJP leader and wife of the martyr Kuldeep Verma, was also present and acknowledged the outpouring of respect and support from the party leadership.
Speaking on the occasion, Rakesh Mahajan said, “Kuldeep Verma laid down his life while fighting for the just demands of the people of Jammu during the Shree Amarnath ji land agitation. His martyrdom reminds us of the power of people’s movements and the sacrifices that lay the foundation for justice.”
Sanjita Dogra described Verma as a symbol of courage and selfless dedication. “His supreme sacrifice continues to inspire the youth of Jammu. It is our duty to uphold his ideals and remain committed to the regional aspirations of our people,” she said.
Yudhvir Sethi emphasized the importance of remembering those who sacrificed for the region. “Kuldeep Verma’s martyrdom is a moral responsibility for us to continue working with the same conviction and vision for Jammu’s development and dignity,” he noted.
Ch. Vikram Randhawa called for honoring such martyrs through public service. “Kuldeep Verma was not just a name, but a movement. His sacrifice must translate into stronger regional unity and commitment,” he added.
