Samba’s mega Tiranga rally ignites flame of unwavering patriotism

SAMBA, AUGUST 13: In an awe-inspiring manifestation of collective national pride, the district of Samba resonated today with the colours, spirit, and fervour of the Mega Tiranga Rally. Commencing from the historic Rani Suchet Singh Sports Stadium and culminating at the Government Higher Secondary School (Boys), Samba, the rally transformed the streets into a living sea of saffron, white and green — an emblematic procession of unity and devotion to the motherland.

The event, organised under the aegis of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, drew an unprecedented gathering of thousands of citizens, spirited students, NCC cadets, disciplined police contingents, and representatives from every stratum of society.

Under the visionary guidance of Deputy Commissioner Samba, Ayushi Sudan, the rally brought together all key stakeholders of the district, including ADDC, ADC, ACR, CEO, and other senior district and sectoral officers. Their collective stewardship ensured the rally’s impeccable execution and inspiring outreach.

With the stirring rhythms of the marching band reverberating through the air, participants proudly bore the National Flag aloft, their unwavering steps mirroring the determination of countless freedom fighters who had once marched for independence.

Upon reaching the destination at Government Higher Secondary School (Boys), Samba, the celebrations took on a more festive and participatory dimension. Selfie Stands meticulously designed and installed by the District Information Office (DIO) Samba offered a creative canvas for citizens and students to immortalise their patriotic moments.

Adding an environmental dimension to the day’s proceedings, the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Samba spearheaded a Plantation Drive, wherein saplings were planted as living embodiments of resilience, sustainability, and the promise of a greener future.

The day’s proceedings concluded with the resounding rendition of the National Anthem, as thousands of voices merged into one, pledging to uphold the Constitution, foster harmony and work tirelessly for the continued progress and prosperity of the nation.
