J&K Police organises drug awareness rally in Baramulla

April 25: Continuing its sustained efforts to combat drug abuse under the Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyaan, J&K Police organized a Drug Awareness Rally in Sub-Division Tangmarg under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg.

The rally witnessed active participation of local youth, who rode ATVs across the area while displaying banners carrying powerful messages such as “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life.” The initiative aimed to spread awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse and to encourage the community, especially the younger generation, to adopt a healthy and drug-free lifestyle. The rally passed through various locations of Tangmarg and Gulmarg, drawing the attention of the general public and reinforcing the message of collective responsibility in eradicating the menace of drugs from society.

Police reiterates its commitment to curbing drug abuse and urges the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies by sharing information related to drug peddling and substance abuse, so as to build a safer and drug-free society.
