The Indian Army has once again achieved a major success, demonstrating high vigilance along the Line of Control (LoC). On Tuesday, the Army apprehended a Pakistani youth who was attempting to infiltrate the Indian side in the Salotri area of the Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch district. The captured intruder has been identified as Javed Ahmed, a resident of the Tetrinot area in Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK).
Who is Javed Ahmed?
The apprehended youth, Javed Ahmed, is the son of Sarfaraz Ahmed and is reported to be a resident of Tetrinot in PoJK. The Army intercepted him just as he was attempting to enter Indian territory from Salotri. He could not evade the Army’s watchful eyes and was caught on the spot.
To be Handed Over to Police After Interrogation
Currently, the Army is conducting intensive interrogation of the intruder, Javed. Once the questioning is complete, he will be handed over to the police. Security agencies are working to determine at whose behest and with what objective he was attempting to infiltrate Indian territory.
It is noteworthy that there has been a recent rise in infiltration attempts and Pakistani drone activities along the Line of Control in Jammu & Kashmir. Thanks to the Army’s vigilance and alertness, such attempts have consistently been thwarted.
