Arun Prabhat, President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Jammu & Kashmir, today called on the Hon’ble Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Kavinder Gupta, at his residence in Jammu.
During the courtesy meeting, Arun Prabhat extended his warm congratulations to the Hon’ble Governor on his historic appointment as the 30th Governor of Himachal Pradesh. He also conveyed best wishes on behalf of the youth of Jammu & Kashmir and expressed pride over Shri Kavinder Gupta Ji’s elevation to the prestigious constitutional office.
On the occasion, Arun Prabhat presented a ceremonial bouquet to the Governor and appreciated his decades of dedicated public service. He remarked that Shri Kavinder Gupta Ji has always been committed to the welfare of the people and has played a significant role in strengthening governance and development in the region through his previous responsibilities, including serving as Mayor of Jammu, Speaker, Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir.
During the interaction, various issues concerning youth empowerment, nation-building and opportunities for greater engagement of youth in developmental initiatives were also discussed. Arun Prabhat highlighted the efforts of BJYM in mobilizing and empowering the youth across Jammu & Kashmir and reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to work for the progress of society and the nation.
The Hon’ble Governor appreciated the initiatives taken by BJYM and encouraged the youth to actively contribute towards the vision of a strong and developed India. He also conveyed his best wishes to the young leadership of the organisation for their continued efforts in public service.
