Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 6 bovines rescued, vehicle seized by JKP in Sub-division Akhnoor

Jammu: Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police Post Chowki Choura has foiled one bovine smuggling attempt in which 06 bovines were rescued from a vehicle Mahindra Bolero bearing registration number No. JK11G-3514 which was coming from Khour towards Rajouri and when reached at naka Gulaba Chapper, Chowki Choura. The driver of the vehicle fled away from the spot after taking advantage of the darkness.

In this regard, a FIR under relevant laws has been registered in Police Station Akhnoor.
Further investigation is underway.
