Experts from SKUAST-K, KVK, line departments discuss way ahead for the introduction of new interventions in agri-economy
SHOPIAN: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar today convened a meeting of the Officers of agri allied departments and university experts to discuss the socio-economic development of the district.
The meeting brought together experts from SKUAST-K, KVK Shopian, other agencies and line departments to explore new interventions in the agri-economy of the district.
The primary objective of the meeting was to prepare a policy document for the district’s sustainable development. This document aims to strengthen the socio-economic parameters of the district, ultimately improving the lives of its residents.
The participants engaged in brainstorming sessions and discussed HADP and other schemes and the need to strengthen the agricultural economy of the district.
