India wins T20 World Cup 2026

Makes history by defeating New Zealand by 96 runs

India’s national cricket team performed brilliantly in the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, defeating the New Zealand national cricket team by 96 runs to win the title. This historic match was played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, where Team India registered a resounding victory in front of thousands of spectators.

After the toss, India batted first and posted a mammoth total of 255 for 5 in 20 overs.

Chasing a target of 256 runs, New Zealand appeared under pressure from the start and were all out for 159 runs.
