Khan Sir Faces Mounting Legal Pressure as Police Search Continues; Surrender Speculation Grows

REPORTED BY SHRIYA GUPTA

Patna: Popular educator Faisal Khan, widely known as Khan Sir and founder of Khan Global Studies, is facing increasing legal scrutiny after being named in a criminal case linked to a recent incident at his coaching institute in Patna.

According to sources, police teams have been actively searching for Khan Sir since the registration of an FIR against him. Reports suggest that he is not currently present at his coaching centre, and his whereabouts remain unknown. Security personnel have also been stationed outside the institute since Thursday night as authorities continue to monitor the situation.

The case stems from an incident of alleged vandalism and stone-pelting at the Khan Global Studies campus on Tuesday night. Investigators claim that a group of approximately 15 to 20 individuals entered the premises, causing damage to property and creating unrest.

Patna Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kartikeya Sharma stated that Khan Sir has been named in the FIR and will be questioned as part of the ongoing investigation. The case reportedly includes charges related to attempt to murder and provisions of the Arms Act.

The investigation took a significant turn on Thursday when police detained two security guards employed at the coaching institute. The guards are accused of opening fire during the disturbance. The action followed the circulation of a purported video on social media that appeared to show shots being fired during the incident.

Initially, Khan Sir alleged that individuals associated with a rival coaching institute were responsible for the firing. However, he later clarified that only a thorough police investigation could determine whether any gunfire had actually taken place and who was responsible.

The controversy deepened further after representatives of a rival coaching institute held a press conference, alleging that Khan Sir himself had orchestrated the vandalism incident. These allegations remain unverified, and police have not publicly commented on the claims.

Authorities continue to investigate all aspects of the case, while speculation persists that Khan Sir may surrender before a court in Patna. However, no official confirmation regarding any planned court appearance has been issued by law enforcement agencies.

As the investigation unfolds, public attention remains focused on the next developments in a case that has generated significant discussion across Bihar and beyond.
