Lookout notice against actor Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra in Rs 60 crore fraud case

A Lookout Circular (LOC) was issued against Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty and her businessman husband Raj Kundra by Mumbai Police in connection with a Rs 60 crore cheating case, officials said on Friday.The Economic Offences Wing of the city police issued the LOC, citing the couple’s frequent international travel, news agency PTI quoted an official as saying.

The case against Shetty and Kundra was registered at Juhu police station on August 14, alleging they defrauded a businessman of nearly Rs 60 crore in a loan-cum-investment deal.

A Lookout Circular is issued to track a person’s movements or prevent them from leaving India, typically alerting immigration and border control authorities.
