The railway administration has taken a significant step for passengers traveling to and from Jammu. In view of the increasing rush and the summer holidays, the decision has been made to add an additional third AC coach to the Jammu Rajdhani Express, which is expected to provide significant relief to passengers.
According to railway officials, an additional third AC coach will be temporarily added to train number 12426 Rajdhani Express from April 11 to April 24. The primary purpose of this decision is to provide more berths to passengers and increase the chances of getting a confirmed ticket.
During the summer season, the number of tourists and travelers to Jammu and Kashmir increases rapidly. This leads to long waiting lists and significant inconvenience for passengers. Keeping this problem in mind, the railway has taken this initiative to ensure a comfortable and smooth travel experience for passengers.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal stated that passenger convenience is the railway’s priority. He stated that adding additional coaches will not only ease crowd pressure but also provide better facilities to passengers.
The railway administration has appealed to passengers to book their tickets in time. Passengers can plan their travel by checking seat availability on the official IRCTC website or at the nearest reservation counter.
This decision will especially provide relief to passengers who have been waiting for confirmed tickets for a long time and are planning to travel during the summer.
