SAMBA: Police has arrested two drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur & Police Station Samba and recovered approximately 08 grams of heroin like substance from their possession.
A Police Party of Police Station Vijaypur led by SHO PS Vijaypur during vehicle checking naka near NHW Zamindara Dhaba, intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration No. JK02AQ-2427 for its checking. During checking, approximately 4.50 grams of heroin like substance has been recovered from the illegal possession of accused identified as Vishal Kumar S/o Som Nath R/o Bhour Camp, Satwari district Jammu.
The said accused has been arrested and contraband item has also been seized.
A case FIR No. 145/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation started.
Likewise, a Police Party of Police Post Rakh Amb Talli led by Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli under SHO PS Samba intercepted a pedestrian at naka Rakh Amb Talli who was moving under suspicious circumstances. During checking, approximately 3.50 grams of heroin like substance has been recovered from the illegal possession of accused identified as Hasan Din S/o Makhan Din R/o Nanke Chak Supwal District Samba. The said accused was arrested and contraband item was also seized.
A case FIR No. 302/2024 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
