Samba Police seizes 5 vehicles including 3 dumpers for illegal mining

Samba, August 18, 2025: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized five vehicles including three dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Ghagwal, Samba and Purmandal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.

Police teams headed by SHO PS Ghagwal, SHO PS Samba, Incharge of Police Post Mansar of PS Samba, Incharge of Police Post Utterbehani of PS Purmandal while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized three dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK08P-0063, JK19-4601, JK08H-4660 and two tractor trolleys without registration Nos. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.

The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
