PM Modi’s strong leadership brought turnaround in J&K: Slathia

SAMBA: BJP MLA from Samba Mr Surjeet Singh Slathia today described peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir as one of the major milestones of the strong leadership under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying this has instilled hope among the people.

Interacting with Karykartas at Block Ghagwal and Sumb on the sidelines of various developmental activities, Mr Slathia said turnaround in the situation unfolded socio-economic development that led to lasting peace and paved way for initiation of comprehensive strategy to promote inclusive growth and empowerment in the Union Territory. Through proactive governance post August 2019, this part of the country ushered in an era of hope and reconciliation, paving the way for progress and prosperity besides instilling a sense of security among millions that has manifested in record tourism in both the regions of Jammu and Kashmir, he added.

“Seeing is believing”, Mr Slathia said while referring in detail to the steps taken across Jammu and Kashmir during five years. He said these are in tune with initiatives like infrastructural development, technological advancement Digital India, and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan that have not only transformed the socio-economic landscape but have also instilled hope and confidence among citizens for a brighter future. PM Modi’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of every Indian has further solidified his image as a leader who stands for the aspirations of all, he said, adding that his policies, aimed at empowering the marginalized, promoting economic growth, and fostering a conducive environment for entrepreneurship, have further reinforced confidence in every section of society.

Earlier, Mr Slathia kick started macadamization of Link road from Village Sagel to Shamshan Ghat Block Ghagwal at an estimated cost Rs 15 Lakh.link Road From Sumb to S.C Mohalla Katli Estimated cost RS 85 Lakh ,Approach Road To Mohalla Ram Lal and others at Village Taloor estimated cost RS 58 Lakh , Construction of Lab Block At Govt Hr secondary school Sumb Estimated Cost RS 133 lakh , Construction of ACR And Examination Hall Estimated cost RS 197 lakh and 100M Span foot suspension Bridge over river Basenter at Smotha estimated cost RS 195 lakh which Gives Relief to thousands of people residing in the located areas

Prominent among those present on the occasion included Vice President Mohan Lal Sharma DDC Suresh Kumar Sharma,Balwan Singh ,Ex BDC Ramesh Singh. National General Secretary OBC Rashpal Verma ,EX Sarpanch Sardar Singh ,Suraj Parkash Verma , and others.

Mr Slathia also listened to the problems of the locals and assured that these will be taken up at appropriate levels for early redressal.
