SSP Amod Ashok Nagpure chairs operations, security review meeting ahead of Republic Day celebrations in Udh

Udhampur: In preparation for the upcoming Republic Day 2025, SSP Udhampur, Sh. Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS, chaired a SMAC meeting at the District Police Lines Udhampur today. The meeting was attended by senior officers from Army, Central Armed Police Forces and other intelligence agencies operating in the district.

The main agenda of the meeting was to assess the current security scenario in the district and ensure seamless coordination among all security and intelligence agencies for operations.

SSP Udhampur stressed the importance of maintaining heightened alertness and vigilance in light of the forthcoming Republic Day events. He directed the officers to enhance patrolling and area domination, especially in and around locations where Republic Day functions will be held.

Attention was given to the need for rigorous surveillance of social media platforms to prevent the spread of misinformation or the potential for disruption by anti-social elements.
