290 bottles of codeine phosphate recovered in Srinagar’s Panthachowk

Srinagar: Based on credible information , a search operation was conducted by the Panthachowk Police Station at the residence of Irfan Ahmad Ganie, son of Manzoor Ahmad Ganie, a resident of Athawajan. The search, carried out in the presence of the Tehsildar Panthachowk (a Gazetted Officer), resulted in the recovery of 290 bottles of Codeine Phosphate.
A case has been registered under FIR No. 05/2025 under Sections 8/21 of the NDPS Act, and further investigation is currently in progress.
