Samba Police nabbed drug peddler with heroin

Samba: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered 4.76 grams approximately heroin (chitta) like substance from his possession.

A Police party headed by SHO PS Vijaypur during special laid naka at Rahya Morh Vijaypur, intercepted a pedestrian on suspicious ground. During checking, 4.76 grams approximately heroin like substance was recovered from his possession.

The drug peddler identified as Shubham Dogra S/o Ramel Singh R/o Bhuddi Dehradun (Uttarakhand) has been arrested and contraband item has also been seized.
A case FIR No 16/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Vijaypur and investigation started.
