SAMBA: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba, Virinder Singh Manhas, today presided over ‘Thana Diwas’ at Police Station Samba, where a large number of prominent citizens, Beopar Mandal representatives and youth were present. SSP Samba was accompanied by Additional SP Samba, DySP Hqrs Samba, DySP Operations Samba, SHO Police Station Samba and other police officers.
To begin with, SSP Samba welcomed the participants and assured them about the commitment of District Police Samba in its fight against the crime and to provide safe and secure environment to the law abiding people.
During the Thana Diwas, SSP Samba urged upon the public to get tenant verification done at the earliest from their nearest Police Station and encouraged them to install CCTVs at their establishments/ shops to help curb criminal activities. The participants were also made aware of New Criminal Laws and emerging Cyber Crimes.
SSP Samba patiently heard the grievances put forth by the public and assured them that their genuine grievances would be redressed appropriately. Besides this, SSP appealed the participants to assist the Police in its efforts to weed out the crime from the society and inform about any suspicious movement in their areas.
At the conclusion, SSP Samba thanked the participants for sparing their valuable time to attend the Thana Diwas.
