Samba, August 05, 2025: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers & peddlers, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari Brahmana and recovered 97.24 grams ganja like substance alongwith cash of rupees three lakhs fifty one thousand seven hundred and a weighing machine from his possession.
A Police party of Police Station Bari Brahmana while performing naka duty near Teli Basti, intercepted a person who was moving under suspicious circumstances and during frisking recovered 97.24 grams ganja like substance alongwith cash of Rs 3,51,700.00 and a weighing machine from his possession.
The drug peddler identified as Vinod Kumar S/o Laturi Singh R/o Uttar Pradesh A/P Rajeev Colony Teli Basti Bari Brahmana has been arrested and contraband item alongwith cash and weighing machine have also been seized.
A case FIR No 109/2025 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
