ACS Education inspects exam centres of class XI in Srinagar, appreciates arrangements

SRINAGAR: Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Education, Shantmanu, today visited different schools in Srinagar district and inspected several examination centres of class XI and reviewed the facilities being provided to the students there.


During the inspection, the Additional Chief Secretary was accompanied by Director School Education, Kashmir, Dr. G N Itoo, who briefed him about the arrangements made by the department in connection with the ongoing examinations for class XI.


While inspecting the examination centre at Girls Higher Secondary School Kothibagh, the ACS interacted with the students and enquired about the examination papers and other facilities being provided to them.


The Additional Chief Secretary expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the School Education Department at the examination centres. He directed all the school heads to make adequate heating arrangements in the examination halls in view of the inclement weather in the region.
