I am pleased to share that the proposal for establishment of an Indoor Sports Stadium at Banihal, has been formally taken up by the Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council. The matter has progressed at the official level, and the District Administration has been requested to expedite transfer of identified land.
The proposed Indoor Sports Stadium will provide organized and modern sporting infrastructure to the youth and sportspersons of Banihal, strengthen grassroots sports development, and promote fitness, discipline, and constructive engagement among young people.
This initiative is a significant step towards youth empowerment and social well-being, in line with the broader objectives to develop sports infrastructure in rural areas.
