MLA Bani Dr. Rameshwar Singh Thakur Makes Strong Statement on Cow Slaughter Law and Sanatan Issues, Targets Political Parties

Dr. Rameshwar Singh Thakur has made a strong statement regarding cow slaughter laws, Sanatan Dharma, and the role of political parties, sparking widespread discussion on social media and in political circles.
He stated that many people may not know that Jammu and Kashmir was once a region where cow slaughter was completely banned under a law introduced by Maharaja Hari Singh. According to him, Jammu and Kashmir was the only region in India at that time where strict laws against cow slaughter existed and no slaughterhouses were permitted to operate.
Dr. Rameshwar Singh Thakur alleged that after the abrogation of Article 370, that law also disappeared, despite promises that ā€œGau Mataā€ would be given special recognition and respect. He further said that the kind of statements being made in different parts of the country regarding cow slaughter are deeply hurting the sentiments of the Sanatan community.
In his statement, he strongly criticized remarks made by certain leaders who differentiated between ā€œworshipped cowsā€ and ā€œcows used for consumption.ā€ He said that such political narratives on matters of faith and religion only create divisions within society.
The MLA Bani also targeted several political parties, accusing them of protecting their political positions instead of safeguarding religion and cultural values. He stated that if anyone has truly preserved Sanatan Dharma, it is the saints and spiritual leaders who have continuously sacrificed and stood for the protection of temples and society.
He also questioned the conduct of some leaders and organizations who publicly call themselves ā€œSanatani.ā€ According to him, merely delivering speeches in the name of religion and culture is not enough; people must raise their voices on real issues affecting society.
In conclusion, Dr. Rameshwar Singh Thakur appealed to saints, religious leaders, and aware citizens across the country to come forward for the protection of Sanatan Dharma and traditional values. His statement is now generating significant debate at both political and social levels.
