This stern legal action stems from case FIR No. 134/2024, registered against the drug peddler namely Mohd Irfan Sheikh son of Mohd Ashraf Sheikh resident of Pamposh Colony Palpora, under the jurisdiction of Police Post Noorbagh. During investigation, it came to fore that a huge quantity of narcotic drugs had been seized and the accused had acquired substantial property including a house and land through the proceeds of illegal drug trade. Adhering to relevant legal procedures, the property valued in lakhs (house and land) has been attached under the NDPS Act.
