Police seizes 5 vehicles including 2 excavators for illegal mining in Samba

Samba: Continuing its drive against illegal mining in district Samba, J&K Police has seized five vehicles including two excavators in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bari Brahmana and Police Station Ramgarh which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.

Police teams headed by SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana and SHO Police Station Ramgarh under the supervision of ASP SDPO Bari Brahaman and SDPO Vijaypur respectively and under the overall supervision of SSP Samba while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional areas, have seized five vehicles including two excavators (JCB) bearing registration No. JK02BX-8389 & other without registration No., two dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21J-6888 & JK21H-5080 and one tractor trolley bearing registration No. PB06AZ-9277 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.

The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action.
